  Covering greenhouses with insect-proof netting can effectively prevent pests and diseases, as well as regulate temperature, soil temperature, and humidity—offering numerous benefits. However, if the coverage is not done properly, not only will the intended effects fail to materialize, but it could even backfire. Therefore, the following precautions before and after installing insect-proof netting must not be overlooked.

  1. Before sowing or planting, use high-temperature enclosed greenhouses or spray low-toxicity pesticides to kill pupae and larvae of soil-dwelling insects.
